If you’ve ever been to the Rochdale Town Hall, you’ll know that it is a Victorian era building with unique and detailed architecture.

Whilst not having been there before until recently, I didn’t really expect much, but was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it was.

Our photo booth was hired for the evening reception and was enjoyed by everyone who used it. The bride chose to have the green screen feature, so we provided a collection of different backgrounds for the guests to choose.

One thing about having our photo booth at so many weddings is that we’re able to see a variety of cultural traditions incorporated into the wedding reception. Having customs/traditions is a great way to share something personal with guests, as well as providing a lovely tribute to the families. For example, this wedding was British and Persian coming together, so it was fantastic to see the Persian cake knife dance for the first time. This tradition starts the cake cutting and continues until the dancer is won over by the money offered and will then give the bride and groom the knife in exchange. It was a lot of fun to watch and such great laughs at times!
